Around the Web

There’s a lot of information out there on the great wide web – some useful and some not. I’d like to begin a regular feature highlighting the best of what’s out there in terms of breastfeeding in general, and breastfeeding multiples, in specific. Have you recently come across a great resource, a personal narrative, or a helpful hint? Share the love! Let me know and I’ll feature it here!

How I did it – my system for breastfeeding twins
This is not a new post, but it is a great description of the logistics of breastfeeding twins, from fellow CLC Julie Hamilton. She’s also Mrs. Nashville 2010. I’m not a pageant person by any stretch, but I tip my hat to anyone who can manage to get themselves that put together while parenting three young children (and nursing two)!
Tandem Nursing Demo (video)
I found this video on YouTube a while back of a mom showing an expectant twin mom how she positioned her babies for breastfeeding in the early days. Note that she switches breasts mid-feeding, which may or may not be necessary for another woman. But it’s great to see a demo of the logistics!

I’m always on the lookout for resources to share, so please let me know if you find something to share! You can always reach us by email!
